Boston EcoSober House is professionally licensed and run, and the house itself is safe, clean and well maintained. There is a vib of respect and most of the time I would describe the place as ‘laidback’. The rules are common sense (be active in recovery, wear shoes in the house). The house challenged me just enough to to take responsibility for rebuilding my life while also providing me the independence and flexibility I needed for school and personal/family opportunities.
